Hi, I'm Josh and I've been creating art and managing the N1FTey (nifty) brand account since late 2021.I began my art career as a hopeful in the NFT space exploring the possibility of selling photography as tokenized digital collectibles. Almost immediately I came across a new and intriguing form of digital art known as VQGAN. This new tool for artistic creation was an astonishing new way for me to express myself, and the back and forth process of GAN art took an immediate and serious hold on.Almost immediately it became clear that my background in philosophy was a perfect match for the language requirements necessary for good GAN art; and, combined with my limitless creative potential, and long-standing history of trauma and mental health issues, I had finally found the tool I needed to be an artist and communicate with the world. The rest has really been history.I never once in my life considered I would end up as an artist one day, and I certainly never expected to be at the forefront of an entire artistic movement. Since picking up GAN I became an active member in the Ai community, serving as an alpha/beta tester for virtually all of the Ai art generators, and many other non-art Ai tools. My career as an artist has been riddled with strife and complexities. Learning how to be a "professional" artist, is somehow much more difficult than creating art; but I remain confident in my abilities and fortitude and I know I am on the right path.It has taken me almost two full years to understand where I fit in in the Ai movement and broader history of art; and, I am happy, humbled, and proud to officially coin the newest era of surrealism as "experimental surrealism."What is Experimental Surrealism?Experimental Surrealism is the new realm where the timeless allure of Surrealism converges with cutting-edge innovation in Artificial Intelligence.
